Personal Om - Meditate / Meditation Timer App Reviews

Absolutely love it.Use it every day!

Ive tried three other meditation timer apps and although they may "do " more, to me meditation is non-doing. A timer that allows the phone ringer to be silenced helps achieve non-doing more than more elaborate visiuals or mulitple recordings of chants. The timer bell sounds a bit like a sinigng bowl - other apps reproduce that sound a little better, but this is pleasant enough. If you find visuals useful in meditation, the app does have some good ones.

Integrated simply into my life.

I just want to set all iPod Touch users straight and say that this version installed and works nicely on my iPod Touch. The customer support is the best. Very nice look to it, and is very easy to use. I love it !

I am new to meditation, however, this app helps me tune out the noise on my long commute to work. It also helps me relax at chaotic times and in chaotic places.

doesnt live up to the hype, not as great as the description boasts.

This app is a great idea in theory but it needs some work. The Robert Gass Om is ok, but it would be nice to have some music choices. Eternal Om by Valley of the Sun would be more pleasant. Liquid Mind would be good too. I like the pic choices, but dont most people close their eyes when meditating? I know I do.

I love this app, its just what I was looking for. The idea that you can choose a picture to focus on during your meditation is really nice. I love all the nature shots. The mountain picture is my favorite image, when I close my eyes to meditate I like to imagine myself sitting on the lake with the mountains surrounding me. The Om chanting helps me focus and find my center. I am looking forward to more updates on this already great app!

Such a great app except for the timer staring me in the face. It distracts from the timeless nature of the images. Take it off and Ill give you five stars. Orcat least make it optional.

I was able to download it right away and use it right away. This was the most complete meditation app I found out there.

No music or sound just UMMM, UMMM! Please give me a refund!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great little app so far. I would love to see more pictures or have the capability of downloading our own photography. At any rate love the program. Highly recommended! Looking forward to updates. In the mean time I think I will just chill at the ocean for awhile! Thank you!

I hate the quality of the om soung. Its worst. I recommend not to buy this app.

Needs to work in locked LCD off mood then it would be 5 stars....good as is

You guys went above and beyond. I love how you add the sound, picture, and feeling together in one app. The Om soundtracked brought me right to center, and kept me there. The experience was magical! At the end, the vibration brought me gently back, just like the description said. 5 stars! Thanks for adding more images in this version, and the new SWOOSH. Keep the updates coming!
